How we decide what goes in the journal

Nothing here exists to fill a page. Each entry starts as a question a passenger actually asked dispatch — usually more than once. When the same question lands three or four times in a month, it earns a post. That is why the archive leans towards timing (what time to leave Farnborough for a 6am Heathrow departure), local geography (whether North Camp really beats Farnborough Main), and the practical mechanics of events (where a V-Class can legally wait in Aldershot on a parade weekend).

Fares and quotes are deliberately kept out of the journal. Delegation, corporate and roadshow work is priced on logistics — vehicle class, waiting windows, driver hours and the number of legs — rather than a flat per-mile table, so a published figure would mislead more often than it would help. If you need a number for a specific job, call dispatch on 01252 265051 and we will price the actual movement, or read the long-distance fixed-price explainer for how the model works.
