Why we standardised on Mercedes
Sedans and people-carriers are the workhorse of every booking, and the three-pointed star earns its place by being predictable. Cabin ride quality is consistent enough for sleeping passengers on the 04:00 Heathrow run, the climate control survives a hot Farnborough Airshow afternoon without complaint, and the leather wears slowly enough that vehicles look presentable at 200,000 miles. Maintenance is scheduled to dealer intervals — no shortcuts, no unbranded parts.
Luggage you can fit in real life
The E-Class accepts two large suitcases plus two cabin bags comfortably and three large cases at a squeeze. The V-Class accepts eight standard cases plus cabin bags with passengers seated, or up to twelve cases with the rear bench folded. Golf clubs, ski bags, infant car seats, and oversized event signage are all accommodated on request — flag the items at booking and dispatch sends the right car.
Behind the wheel
Every driver is licensed by Rushmoor Borough Council, has cleared an enhanced DBS check, carries hire-and-reward insurance, and is briefed on local hotspots — the Farnham one-way, the Camberley Frimley Road peak hours, the M3 J4 queue patterns, and Heathrow terminal-by-terminal pickup geography. Discretion is the default: phone calls stay on speaker only if you ask.
