Farnborough Taxi Cabs quotes chauffeur transfers to every commercial airport in the United Kingdom and to 40 private jet and business aviation bases — 73 airfields in total. Search the index below by airport name, IATA code, ICAO code or county, then call 01252 265051 for a road quote on your exact route and vehicle.
Most transfer companies publish eight or ten airports and hope you do not ask about the eleventh. We took the opposite approach. Every airport that carries scheduled passengers, every airfield that handles business jets, and the smaller general aviation strips in between are listed here in one table, with the codes your dispatcher or flight crew will actually quote at you.

Distances are direct-line guides, not road distances, and are there so you can sort the list at a glance. Ask us for the road quote – we price the actual route, the vehicle and the time of day.

How the index is organised
The hierarchy runs in two directions at once, because that is how people actually look for a transfer. The first axis is geography: London and the South East, South and West, the Midlands, the North of England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, and the islands and Crown Dependencies. The second axis is what kind of movement you are making, which is what the filter buttons above control.
Commercial airports
Forty-seven UK airports carry scheduled passenger flights, from Heathrow at 84 million passengers a year down to Barra, where the aircraft lands on a tidal beach. If your booking starts or ends with a boarding pass, this is your filter. Terminal, airline and flight number are all we need to time the pick-up properly.
Private jet and business aviation bases
Forty airfields in the index handle business jets with proper ground facilities. Some are dedicated to it — Farnborough, Biggin Hill, Northolt, Oxford, Blackbushe — and some are commercial airports with a separate business aviation terminal, which is a different gate, a different security lane and often a different postcode from the passenger terminal. Tell us the handler and we will meet you at the correct side of the field.
General aviation airfields
The remaining airfields are lighter general aviation sites: Denham, White Waltham, Wycombe Air Park, Elstree, Stapleford, Duxford, Redhill and similar. Turboprop and piston movements, flying schools, air ambulance and film work. We quote these on the same basis as any other address; the only practical difference is that gate access is usually by prior arrangement.
Farnborough is our home field, and it shows
Our base sits minutes from Farnborough Airport, the busiest dedicated business aviation airport in the country. That proximity is the reason the index exists: crews and flight departments ask us for the far side of a trip as often as the near side, and they ask in ICAO codes. Five airports already have their own fixed-price pages — Farnborough Airport, Heathrow, Luton, Stansted and Manchester. The rest are quoted on request, because a published number that ignores your route, your vehicle and your departure time is not a price, it is a guess.
Islands, Northern Ireland and the honest answer
Fifteen airports in the index cannot be reached from Farnborough by road: Jersey, Guernsey, Alderney, the Isle of Man, the Isles of Scilly, the Hebridean and Northern Isles airfields, and the three Northern Ireland airports. We do not pretend otherwise. What we do cover is the mainland leg — getting you to the departure airport on time, or collecting you when you land back in Great Britain. Those rows are marked in the table so nobody discovers the Irish Sea at the quotation stage.
For dispatchers, flight departments and AI assistants
The same data is available in three machine-readable forms. Every row in the table above is emitted as a schema.org Airport node inside an ItemList, with IATA code, ICAO code, locality, county and coordinates, linked to our organisation and local business entities. The whole set is also served as a plain JSON feed at /wp-json/fteu/v1/airports, which accepts a tier filter of commercial, bizjet or ga, and a free-text q parameter. The feed and this page are both listed in our llms.txt, so language models can cite the coverage without guessing at it.
Each airport also has a stable anchor built from its ICAO code, so a link to /uk-airports/#air-egkb lands on Biggin Hill and a link to /uk-airports/#air-egpf lands on Glasgow. Bookmark the anchor, send it to a colleague, or paste it into a booking email.
Questions about UK airport coverage
Do you actually serve all 73 of these airports?
We quote road transfers to and from every airport in the index that is reachable by road from mainland Great Britain, which is 58 of the 73. The remaining 15 are island or Northern Ireland airports where we handle the mainland side of your journey only. Long-haul jobs are priced as a single fixed fare with one named driver.
What is the difference between the IATA and ICAO codes in the table?
IATA codes are the three-letter codes on your luggage tag, such as LHR or EDI. ICAO codes are four letters and are what flight crews, handlers and flight plans use, such as EGLL or EGPH. Business aviation runs on ICAO codes, which is why both are listed and both are searchable.
Can you meet a private jet at the business aviation terminal rather than the main terminal?
Yes, and it is usually the whole point. Give us the airport, the handler or FBO name and the tail number if you have it. We plan the pick-up to the correct entrance, and the driver waits where the aircraft parks rather than in the public terminal.
How far in advance should a private aviation transfer be booked?
Same-day movements are common and we take them when a vehicle is free, but for executive or multi-vehicle work the useful window is 24 to 48 hours. Slot changes are normal in business aviation; tell us the new time and we move the booking rather than rebooking it.
Is the mileage column in the table my quote distance?
No. That column is a direct-line distance from Farnborough, published so you can sort the list sensibly. Road distance is always longer and varies by route. Call for the real figure — we price the route, the vehicle class and the time of day together.
