Long-distance chauffeur·GU14 → Aintree Racecourse
Farnborough to Aintree Racecourse
Door-to-enclosure chauffeur from Farnborough (GU14) to Aintree Racecourse — 220 miles up the M3, M25, M40, M6 and M58, arriving at the Princess Royal Stand, Earl of Derby Stand or Hospitality Marquees in around 3h 45m. Mercedes V-Class is the recommended cabin for the four-hour run; E-Class from £595 covers solo guests. Overnight Liverpool return is the standard Grand National Festival package.
Why this route, why this chauffeur
Grand National Day in early April is the most-watched horse race in the world — 70,000 at the racecourse, the surrounding A59 corridor under marshal direction, and overnight Liverpool return is the only sensible configuration for a southern visit.
M6 to M58 J7 is the only inbound — your driver knows the Ormskirk Road approach, the Princess Royal Stand drop bay, the Earl of Derby Stand entrance and the Hospitality Marquee gate.
Three-day Festival package covers Thursday Grand Opening Day, Friday Ladies Day and Saturday Grand National Day with the driver staying at a Liverpool hotel on your account between days — no deadhead 440-mile round trips three days running.

The run, in detail
Aintree is the long-haul event venue in our roster — Grand National Festival across the first weekend in April, with Grand Opening Day on Thursday, Ladies Day on Friday and Grand National Day on Saturday. The race itself is the most-watched horse race in the world; the surrounding race-week traffic plan turns the A59 corridor and the Ormskirk Road approach into a marshal-directed exercise. Overnight Liverpool return is the only sensible configuration for a visitor coming from the south.
The routing is the same as Liverpool city: M3 to M25 anticlockwise, M40 north past Oxford, M42 around Birmingham, M6 north past Stoke and Manchester, then M58 west to Junction 7 and the Ormskirk Road into Aintree. About 220 miles, 3h 45m wheels-turning, allow 4h 30m door-to-door with one mid-route break at Warwick or Stafford services.
Gate allocation depends on the ticket package. Princess Royal Stand is the premium enclosure with its own dedicated drop bay. Earl of Derby Stand has the Lord Sefton entrance. Hospitality Marquees route through a separate access point on the rail side. Tattersalls and the public stands use the main racecourse entrance. Your Client Coordinator confirms the gate the day before.
The three-day Festival package is the way to do this properly. Your driver brings you up on Thursday morning, stays at a Liverpool hotel (Albert Dock Hilton, Pullman, Liverpool One Crowne Plaza) on your account between race days, transfers you to the racecourse each morning and back to the hotel each evening, then drives you home on Saturday after the National. Eliminates three deadhead 440-mile round trips and is dramatically cheaper than three single-day bookings.

E-Class from £595 for solo guests; V-Class from £759 is the recommended cabin for the four-hour distance; Ford Tourneo from £705 for groups; S-Class from £925 for board-level transfers. Around 3 hours 45 minutes wheels-turning via the M3, M25 anticlockwise, M40, M6 and M58. Allow 4h 30m door-to-door with one mid-route service break at Warwick or Stafford services. Grand National Day adds an hour for the A59 marshal-directed traffic plan.
Which Aintree gate do we use — Princess Royal, Earl of Derby or Hospitality?

Hospitality Marquees route through a separate access point on the rail side. Your Client Coordinator confirms the gate the day before.
Do you do the three-day Grand National Festival package with Liverpool overnight?
Yes — this is the standard configuration for a southern Festival visit. Driver brings you up Thursday, stays at a Liverpool hotel on your account between race days (Albert Dock Hilton, Pullman, Crowne Plaza), transfers to the racecourse each morning and back each evening, drives you home Saturday after the National. Eliminates three deadhead round trips.
