Electric long-distance chauffeur — Tesla and Mercedes EQS from Farnborough
Zero-emission chauffeur transfers across the UK in a Tesla Model 3 or Mercedes EQS — ULEZ and CAZ compliant by definition, planned charging stops, silent cabin, same fixed-price model as our combustion fleet.
When an EV chauffeur is the right choice
For corporate travel programmes with carbon-reduction targets, for journeys that end in central London (ULEZ), central Birmingham (CAZ Class D) or Oxford (ZEZ), and for travellers who simply prefer the silent cabin of a modern electric saloon, the EV chauffeur option is now the default request for around a quarter of our long-distance bookings.
We operate two EV classes for long-distance work: the Tesla Model 3 Long Range as our executive electric saloon, and the Mercedes EQS as our flagship electric executive vehicle with silent rear cabin and executive rear seating.
Long-distance EV requires charging stops. We treat this as a feature. Our drivers know the ultra-rapid charger locations on every major UK motorway corridor, and we factor a 20-25 minute Supercharger stop into the planned journey time. Most passengers value the break.
ULEZ and CAZ compliance by default
A Tesla Model 3 or Mercedes EQS is exempt from the London ULEZ, the Birmingham CAZ Class D, and the Oxford Zero Emission Zone. For destinations involving any of these areas, the EV option removes the charge from your fare and the carbon from your scope-3 footprint.
Charging stop, not a delay
On a typical Farnborough-to-Manchester run we plan a single 22-minute Tesla Supercharger stop at Warwick or Stafford North — long enough to refresh, short enough to keep total journey time within ten percent of a non-stop run.
Same fixed-price model
EV bookings use the same fixed-price model as our combustion fleet. There is no separate EV surcharge or kWh billing. Your quote covers the entire journey including all charging stops.
“They quoted the Tesla at the same fixed price as the V-Class, planned a single charging stop, and got me from Farnborough to Manchester in three hours forty without me lifting my laptop.”— Operations director, FTSE-250 firm, April 2026
What is included on every EV transfer
One fixed quote covers the entire journey including all charging stops.
How to book the EV chauffeur
Quote as normal and specify Tesla or EQS — we will return a fixed price that already includes charging.
- Specify EV at quote — WhatsApp +44 7778 356571 with your route and add Tesla or EQS. Coordinator returns a fixed price including charging.
- We plan the charging stop — Under 250 miles, no stop. 250-400 miles, one 20-25 minute charge. 400+ miles, two charges built into schedule.
- Driver pre-charges the vehicle — Vehicle leaves at 100% state-of-charge, so the first charging stop is at the optimal point for the corridor.
- Charging stops are planned breaks — Charger locations are pre-selected for facilities — toilets, food, working space — so the stop doubles as a comfort break.
- Door-to-door fixed pricing — One quote for the whole journey. We absorb the cost of electricity. You see one fixed price up front.

Quietly answered
How long does charging add to a long-distance journey?
On routes 250-400 miles we add a single 20-25 minute charging stop, used as a comfort break. On 400+ mile routes (Edinburgh, Glasgow) two stops. Total journey time is typically within 10% of a non-stop combustion run.
Which EVs do you run for long-distance chauffeur work?
Tesla Model 3 Long Range as executive electric saloon (real-world 330-mile range), and Mercedes EQS as flagship electric executive vehicle (350-mile range, silent rear cabin, executive rear seating).
Is the EV chauffeur more expensive than the combustion fleet?
No. We use the same fixed-price model. Tesla Model 3 fare matches our E-Class fare for the same route. Mercedes EQS fare matches our S-Class fare.
Are EVs exempt from ULEZ, Congestion Charge and CAZ?
Yes — fully electric vehicles are exempt from the London ULEZ, Birmingham CAZ Class D, and Oxford Zero Emission Zone. EVs also avoid the central London Congestion Charge.
Can you provide carbon-reporting data for our corporate travel programme?
Yes. We can supply per-journey kWh consumed and zero scope-1 tailpipe emissions for the EV fleet, plus a per-mile scope-3 figure if required.
What happens if a charger is out of service?
Our drivers carry adapters for all major UK networks. If a planned charger is down, we re-route to the next available — and your fixed-price quote is unaffected.
Specify EV when you quote — same fixed price, zero tailpipe emissions.
