School proms and Hart events

Fleet sees a heavy school-prom calendar in June and July, with V-Class bookings clustered around three or four venues. The Hart Leisure Centre also runs occasional concerts and corporate days that pull collections in from Hartley Wintney and Hook. Dispatch builds the run sheet two weeks ahead for the prom dates and 48 hours ahead for Hart events.

Wedding venues across Fleet

The Elvetham Hotel is the standout wedding venue in GU51, with most parties booking a V-Class for the bridal arrival and one or two extras for the wider party. Tylney Hall, just over the GU51 line, is a similar pattern. Smaller weddings use Hartley Wintney village hall, Fleet Royal British Legion, and the Hart Leisure Centre community room — all served from the same dispatch desk.

When to book a Fleet event taxi

Prom season and the Hart Leisure Centre calendar drive most of the event work in Fleet, and both concentrate demand into a handful of dates. A Fleet event taxi for a prom is usually booked weeks ahead, because parents want a specific car, a specific driver and a photograph outside the house before it leaves. The fare is fixed when you book and does not change on the night.

For weddings at Hartley Wintney village hall, the Royal British Legion or the Hart community room, the pinch point is the gap between ceremony and reception. Send us the running order and dispatch stages the cars to match it, rather than parking a vehicle outside for two hours.

Late finishes and return runs

If the evening is likely to run past the last convenient train, a pre-booked return removes the guesswork entirely. Book it with the outbound and it is held with a named driver for the finish time you give us, at the price agreed when the booking was made.

Vehicles for proms, weddings and group nights

Proms are often booked on the S-Class for the arrival photograph, then a V-Class for the group travelling home together; weddings tend to run the opposite way round. Child seats are fitted on request, and a wheelchair-accessible vehicle can be allocated when it is flagged at booking rather than on the day. Whatever the combination, it sits on one reference at one agreed price, so nobody is working out who owes what at the end of the night.
